Below, we see the biggest 50 corporations in the world in terms of mcap (market capitalization value).
Here, despite it seems there are only 6 health care related companies (five from the pharmaceutical industry; J&J, Pfizer, Novartis, Roche and Merck and one from health care insurance), we should take this number as the tip of the iceberg. Although health care is not their main drive of business or biggest revenue-generating operation, including Apple and Google (Alphabet) there are many other companies who have health care/pharma activities and investments (Nestle - nutrition, P&G, Samsung - Unilever)
In that regard, maybe we should look at this list from the mirror side and try to figure out the companies which don’t have any health care/pharma-related activities…
